Biography: Hi my name is Stacy Holmes and I earned my bachelor’s degree from California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in Liberal Studies Math. Following graduation, I continued my education at CSUDH earning my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and currently working on my teaching credential in Special Education. This is my third year working at Simon Tech and I am thrilled to continue my journey here as a Husky. I look forward to working and learning alongside all of you!

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that all students are capable of learning just at their own pace and in their own way. My role as a teacher is to ensure that all students are receiving the proper support they need in order to be successful. In addition, my students will learn skills to advocate for themselves in and out of the classroom.

Course Description: 

Math Resource Lab is designed to introduce, reinforce and extend math skills needed to succeed in high school, college and beyond. Study units will be based on the Jaime Escalante Math Program: Algebra Readiness.
