My name is Lorena Reynoso and I am your instructor for 10th grade English. I attended UCLA for undergrad and majored in Spanish, therefore I’m fluent in speaking, reading and writing Spanish. I also received my masters in Education (goooo BRUINS!).
I grew up in Venice, near the beach, yet I spent most of my childhood summers in Jalisco, Mexico. During my free time, not only do I enjoy reading, but I also love walking on the beach, painting, and listening to music.
I am committed to help you succeed by incorporating rigorous lessons, critical thinking conversations and making sure we cover all the material that is needed for you to succeed.
My ultimate goal is to create a classroom community where we establish mutual respect, we learn from each other, and we all become teachers within our own communities.
This English class is designed to help you become better readers, writers, critical thinkers, learn to question what you read, what you hear, and what you choose to believe.
