Hey Huskies!

 

I am Mrs.Reynoso-Jimenez. I am starting my 11th year at Simon Technology High School, and just last year I transitioned into the role of one of your Assistant Principals. I am so excited to be working with you all this year. A little bit about myself, I was born and raised primarily in Venice Beach, yet I spent majority of my summers soaking in my Mexican culture in Jalostotitlan and Tepatitlan, Mexico (Jalisco). My favorite language to speak is Spanglish (un poquito de todo). 

 

I taught here at Simon Tech. for nine years. I am very passionate about serving the community of Watts. I am committed to working towards equity, social justice, gender equality, and I supporting the BLM, BIPOC, and the LGBTQIA community. I believe that through leading I can have a great impact in supporting our educators and scholars in creating a safe space that is inclusive and celebratory of everyone.

 

I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors in Spanish and continued my education at UCLA to receive a Masters in Education. In 2020 I received my Administrative credential from CSDH. I am also a mother. I have two children, my daughter Selene (She's four) and my son Sebastian (he's one). I also have two furr babies (two French bulldogs- Ace and Bolt). My hands are pretty full! I look forward to sharing more about myself throughout the day.
