The window to submit enrollment applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be open from September 29th to December 1st! We are all very excited for this school year, and we would love to have your scholars join our Husky family! With that in mind, here is some information about the enrollment application process.
How do I enroll my child at Alliance Cindy & Bill Simon Technology Academy High School?
Currently, there are two ways to enroll your child at an Alliance school. The first method is by submitting an online application via our SchoolMint Portal. The second method of enrolling your child is by submitting a paper application which can be found here. Additionally, you can visit our campus and we will gladly provide a paper application; all the information is available on our website.
How are students selected to attend an Alliance charter school?
Alliance is a public school open to all scholars. If by the deadline, there are more applications received than spots available, a public random lottery is held. In this lottery, scholars are either offered a spot or added to the waitlist. If no lottery is necessary, scholars are automatically offered a spot.
How does the lottery work and when is it held?
Lotteries at Alliance schools are computerized. To ensure fairness and accuracy, the computer-automated lottery software that we utilize is set up by an independent company called SchoolMint that has no affiliation to our school. SchoolMint is an online platform used by K-12 charter networks, including more than 1,300 schools and a million scholars, for scholar recruitment and enrollment management. SchoolMint randomly draws the applicants and generates a list of offered and waitlisted scholars. While you are more than welcome to attend the lottery, your attendance is not required.
